I went to see Howie Day tonight at the House of Blues. It's been a few years since I saw him last and he was great! It is always so nice to go to a show where you know almost every song and can sing along. Makes the evening that much more enjoyable. And thanks to Alison for scoring us free tickets. I will say that my parking was $26 which I will never, ever, ever get used to as long as I live here...had I have paid for my concert ticket it would have still been less than the parking. There is just something wrong about that. Okay, I'm stepping off my soap-box now. Thanks, Alison, for the great evening!

Twenty-six dollars!?!? At that price, I hope they had a troupe of handsome boys to carry you to the show Cleopatra-style from the parking lot. Gee whiz.
And thus why I always take the el or the bus. =)
And really, the concert was so fun. Amy and I haven't gotten together in awhile, and we talked, talked, talked. Not as loudly as the two couples on my left, however. =) But it was fun, and Howie is so adorable! I also loved, loved, loved his mixing music on stage. I have never seen that before.
If I could take the el or the bus from the burbs that would be a different story. Well, maybe, I wouldn't take the bus. That sounds long and horrible. :)
