I watched Into the Wild Saturday night. I can't stop thinking about it. I'm definitely going to have to read the book and I've ordered the disc of special features.

Really? I watched it and was honestly kinda bored. That said, I did google him and as it turns out, the movie didn't quite get the story right. The part about his parents and how their disfunction led to his escape-ism desire was greatly exaggerated. I thought that was too bad, really.
Also, they now doubt he was posioned. More than likely he slowly starved to death over time. His body weighted 67 lbs when he died.
I read the book recently. It is interesting, but the guy was very weird. In the book they did seem to think he was poisoned by eating too much of one plant. Anyways it is an interesting read.
