My sister's baby is due October 10. She had another ultrasound yesterday and they estimate that my niece is already approximately 5 and a half pounds!!

That is kind of big for a baby at this point, huh? I know that during the last month or so, babies typically gain about half a pound a week. I don't envy your sister getting that little girl out! At least she is healthy though!

That is a HUGE baby. At this rate, I'm thinking she's going to be a chunk and nothing will fit. :-)
Since the doctors are already aware of her chunkiness, I bet your sister won't make it to her due date. Surely they will induce her before your neice becomes too big! Does your sister have gestational diabetes? Jackson weighed less than two pounds more than your neice does now when he was born at 38 weeks!
